How Skins Work and How to Equip Them

Cosmetic skins apply visual alterations to infantry models, field guns, ground vehicles, aircraft, and naval hulls. Selecting a skin redesigns your army into a specific national force, historical era, or themed aesthetic.

Equipping a skin takes place in the main menu:

  1. Open your player profile from the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Skin Using option to view your unlocked inventory.
  3. Choose any owned faction to apply its visual design across your entire unit roster.

Most faction packages sell for gems, typically priced between 100 and 500 gems. Players accumulate gems by finishing campaign missions, collecting the daily login mail, claiming milestone rewards through daily rewards, or buying gem bundles in the Roblox store for Robux. A unique exception is the guest skin, which requires a dedicated point purchase of 500,000 points rather than premium currency.

National Themes and Distinct Unit Models

While skins do not change weapon damage, ranges, or tile movement rates, several factions use completely unique 3D models for specific unit classes.

The American skin serves as the default starter palette, using standard olive-drab coats alongside an M48 Patton model for the battle tank and an M103 hull for the Heavy Tank CW.

The soviet skin alters infantry gear to display cold-weather uniforms with chin straps and AK-pattern rifles for frontline Grunts. Armored vehicles take on distinct Soviet-era shapes, including T-54/T-55 hulls for the standard tank line and an IS-3 model for the Heavy Tank CW. On water, it features the Sovetsky Soyuz-class hull for the naval battleship.

The United Nations skin paints armor in institutional white, marks vehicle flanks with UN lettering, and dresses infantry in light blue peacekeeper helmets. In player-versus-player skirmishes, the white chassis can occasionally create visual ambiguity against neutral, uncaptured structures.

A small selection of skins includes a fully remodeled player Headquarters base instead of the standard tent outpost:

The Late German skin focuses exclusively on Second World War aesthetics, outfitting the battle tank as a Krupp-designed Panzer VII Löwe super-heavy vehicle. Brazil features multiple real-world vehicle variations, giving the battle tank chassis modeled after the EE-T1 Osório prototype and the Leopard 1.

AI-Exclusive Skins

Certain factions cannot be purchased or equipped by players. The game reserves ten specific visual packages strictly for enemy forces across campaign scenarios:

  • Taliban
  • Red Iron Cross
  • Northern Blue Allience
  • Woodland Skin
  • Verglas
  • Area 51
  • Plushie
  • Devvies
  • GFLA
  • Gromit Mug

In dedicated historical scenarios, such as missions within the Allied Front or Cold Front storylines, the campaign engine occasionally locks your squad to a predetermined army style to reflect the scenario's opposing factions. Normal custom matches, standard campaigns, and multiplayer skirmishes let you keep whichever unlocked theme you select in your profile.
